Sorry to be the one to tell you but if you are hoping the government is going to forgive your student loan debt you will be disappointed in the future. Before you attack me know that I fully understand the economics involved. I understand that there are generations locked out of our economy because of the burden of student loan debt. I understand the negative effects that student loan debt will have on our future economy when a nation that is run by 70% consumer consumption has no customers in the future. I understand people will never own a home in America because of student loan debt and I also understand the loss of future tax revenues as a result. If you have no student loan debt and you own a home and feel student loan debt will not affect you? Well, you are wrong because I would love to know how you expect to get all that equity out your home you put into it if there is nobody who can afford to buy it. I even understand the basic unfairness of previous generations essentially getting their education at little or no expense to themselves only to reap the benefits of some of the most profitable times in America in the 1950s and 1960s. I hear you and I fully get it and empathize with you.

What you need to do is understand exactly what you are asking for when you are asking for student loan debt forgiveness. I will make it simple. You are asking people to spend taxpayer money they will make in the…
