When Voting Feels Gross
Today was the first day of early voting here in Georgia. I had it in my calendar to go Thursday. However, I decided to go today, so I moved some customers around and off I went to vote.
Was this because I was excited? Absolutely not. I voted because I have decided as a Democratic voter the healthiest thing I can do is vote early and forget about all the election coverage. I will not watch a single tidbit of media regarding this election.
No news, no 538, no polling and I even unsubscribed from some of my favorite YouTube channels until this election is over.
Why am I doing this? Well, If I don’t vote now, the Democratic establishment will most likely convince this Democratic voter that the party is a joke.
Here are some reasons:
I had high hopes for Harris, especially after choosing Walz. They came out strong, and I absolutely loved the aggressive personal attacks on Republicans. Now they are dating the Cheney's, and it seems like the campaign may be suffering from Clinton Bipartisan Syndrome (CBS) and possibly Neoliberal Delusion Syndrome (NDS).
Joe Biden is now sending US troops to die in the Middle East (again) in a Jewish Holy War. I think he is too old to remember that we are supposed to get some oil for our dead US troops.
But the Coup De Gra has got to be Barack Obama, coming out of the Big House to whip the field niggers in line for ole Mr. Candy like he just did.
So, I suggest my Democratic friends you go vote early…Before the Democratic Party convinces you not to.
