Watching all these MAGA Trump voters looking for pity, NOT REDEMPTION! I am reminded of a scene from the film the Grey Zone, a film about the Sonderkommando (Jews forced to prepare prisoners for the death chambers at Auschwitz). In the film, David Arquette, a Sonderkommando, tells a husband and wife to remove all their belongings and to strip off their clothes. The wife protests and tells Arquette he is nothing more than a peasant. as she came from wealth. Her husband attempts to intervene, only to be beaten to death by Arquette in front of the man's wife and a gleeful Nazi guard. The guard rewards Arquette with a smile, as the wife, now a widow, strips in a state of confusion and fear. There is nothing special about the cruelty of MAGA, it is always possible within us. And now MAGA is reaping the punishment of their ways...and they will never ever see themselves as anything other than the victim.
