These same toxic conservatives are the ones who wave the flag and yell support the troops. The truth is the armed services would not want any of them. The first thing you learn in basic training is that you are not special , you are part of a unit , And more importantly you are responsible to and for that unit. Furthermore if the rest of us (civilized people) adopt their "me first" attitude they cannot get upset when I ask them "how does your existence serve me?" The truly ironic thing is most of these me first conservatives have fallen in love with fascism and if you are not of value to the state under fascism things go really bad for you quickly.
