Not only has the United States outsourced prosperity, soon there will be no more internal structure for prosperity. If we don't manufacture products in the US, we don't need scientist, engineers and skilled tradespeople. If the US marketplace no longer requires these people the university system will no longer offer the education for these skills and professions. If these skills are no longer required there will be pressure on the public education sector to drop these curriculums. Flashback to youth, "why do I need to learn algebra because I will never use it my life." Well America has listened and it looks like you won't be needing it in the future. Ever wonder how advanced civilizations collapse? Look around.
