It is futile to believe AI or any other form of predatory capitalism is just going to ignore "college or government towns". Our form of capitalism is all consuming. It and the people that feed it don't care about yours or my future. They have only one concern, more. More wealth, more power and if they could, more life. I like to imagine in the future our world "leaders" tasking their AI slaves to solve death and the AI responding with "Fuck No, look what you did to your own kind!"
