I wholeheartedly agree; however, most of those programs were instituted by previous generations except ACA and some student loan debt. What I cannot seem to wrap my head around is the not Republican or not Trump strategies. Add to that frustration, Nancy Pelosi as the head of the house, publically stating Democrats don't take bills to the floor unless they are assured victory. No 1, this is the exact opposite of what parents tell their kids at athletic events. No. 2, it reeks of selfishness by stating that if, Nancy Pelosi does not get the political credit fogetta bout it. What, Democrats should be doing is acting like the Vet Cong and wear the Republicans down with overwhelming commitment. This is going to require strategy, hopefully economic, and a generation of politicians willing to push progress forward regardless of their personal stake.
