How to be an Effective Alumni with Altrubanc
Congratulations, you have graduated and are working in your dream job. Now you wish to help others and show your appreciation to your Alma mater. Do you send a check along with the envelope from your school which tells you to be a responsible alumni? Sure you could do that and wonder what your money is doing and where it is being spent. Wouldn’t it be nice if you knew exactly where your contribution was and what it was doing? While you ponder this question let me ask you another question. What do you think would be the best thing you as an alumni could do for the health of your school? Build a building? You could do that if you had the resources. Support the athletic teams and help the school bring in revenue with that association? Assuming you were not a college athlete like most you most likely went to college to graduate and earn a degree. Remember these two words, graduate and earn.
The best thing any alumni can do for their alma mater is ensure a constant flow of graduates from their school who in turn will become contributing alumni in the future. How do you do this you ask? It only requires two things. Motivate as many of that schools students to achieve graduation and reduce their student loan debt so that after they graduate they are in a better financial position to becoming contributing alumni and so and so on. Here is where Altrubanc comes in.
Any alumni could donate using Altrubanc and specifically use their donations to support all students presently attending their school. This will motivate those students to graduate and the ones that do will graduate with less student loan debt. They have graduated and they have earned the financial assistance. I told you to remember those two words. And what of the ones that don’t graduate? Well those donations will recycle to our not for profit and motivate all students on the Altrubanc network to graduate.
Those students that do graduate with less debt as a result of your contributions will go on to fund the next round of students at your school. Your contributions will do far more than just sending a check in an envelope.
Donations don’t die with Altrubanc, they produce graduates or they recycle to motivate the next graduate.
