Get Out of The Way

What is worse, a person who says “I won’t help you”, or a person who says “I might help you”. Either way you go without help. I bring this up because this is what every voter has to choose every time they contemplate voting for the Republicans or the Democrats. Full disclosure, I am a Democrat that falls a bit into the Progressive camp.

So, what is better? Knowing that the Republicans won’t help you or thinking the Democrats might help you. Well, I actually have the answer and the perfect example why.

First off, the worse situation is thinking the Democrats might help you. This is because the Democratic party has a twenty-year history of putting in the least effort when in power and promising the most effort during campaigns.

My personal experience with the side effects of Democratic “might help” reality.

I have been working on a model to help students reduce their student loan debt for a decade now. The reality is students that graduate with less debt have more economic power to contribute to the economy as a whole. And that benefits us all by growing our economy. In addition to this social/economic benefit our model has the potential to be very profitable in providing this service. So, what’s the problem you ask?
